I believe that being a woman gives you a unique perspective, you can choose to see the world through the eyes of children (your own and/or others') and your capacity to love and care for other people can expand immeasurably. It becomes impossible to go through life blind to the plight of those around us. If we see suffering and don't step up, who will?
