Description:
It used to be that women weren't really that involved in cotton production, at least not in the sales. But by focusing on organic cotton production, they are able to bring in significant amounts of money. With that money, they have a significantly greater degree of independence. One of the most important things that women are doing with the money from these sales is putting their kids in school. That's really having a big effect on the community.
