Avoid Caffeine after 2 PM
Research has shown caffeine consumed 6 hours before bed caused a drastic decrease in sleep quality. Participants who consumed caffeine less than 6 hours before sleep often noticed at least an hour less of sleep than their counterparts. For this reason, it’s recommended to only intake caffeine early in the day before 2 PM. There are potential health benefits to caffeine so there isn’t any cause for concern as long as it’s consumed early in the day.
