Consciously slow your breathing pattern and avoid mental stimulation

Slowing your breathing patterns in addition consciously inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth calms your body and will ease you into a nice slumber. Heavy mental and emotional stimulation is an easy way to rattle your mind before you sleep, so try to avoid any conflict and stressful activities before sleep to increase the quality and duration of your sleep.
