Activating your sweet tooth is unavoidable during the holiday season. From the family dinners and work parties to a break room filled with tasty treats baked by someone's mother, it's impossible to declare the days between Thanksgiving and Christmas sugar-free.

So if you can't beat them, you mine as well join them. And when joining them, you mine as indulge them.

One of the craziest confections making its way around the Internet is sure to be the center of attention at any gathering spot. It's called the Pumplecan and it's what your doctor warned you about.

This dessert does not discriminate – it's made of an apple pie, a pumpkin pie and a pecan pie all layered in three different types of cake with frosting on top. None of the individual treats have to be made from scratch and the entire Pumplecan can be put together in about an hour.

Though there are a few different recipes for this fantastically foolish treat, this one is from a news reporter in Michigan that decided to try out the triple threat on her coworkers. Below is the recipe from Jessica Webster

Happy baking!
